I don't mind telling you that the WS has me down. I've been depressed about it for days, after weeks of anxiety. And I was in dire need of some good news.
This being so, I want to thank Carrie Prejean. Really, thank you Carrie. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Your well timed, hilariously stupid and inanely hypocritical downfall arrived at just the right time to give me a reason to smile just when I needed it. Laughing at you, and at the continued fallout from your self-destruction was just what I needed. Now if MLB will only put in place a salary cap. |

First, the setup: I'm walking from the train into work. To do this, I go past two businesses. One is a check cashing place, and the other sends out those falafel carts you see on the street. The two of them are right next to one another.
So as I walk past the check cashing concern, I see three men trying to push a falafel cart up onto the curb. They're grunting and straining, and making precious little headway. So here's the "is it wrong" question:
Is it wrong that I hoped they'd push too hard and send the falafel cart through the front window of the check cashing place? |

This here is my spider. It's three months old. I'll be feeling it dead food for a while, because it's too young to take down it's own prey.
